What would your life be like if you carried no stress, and had a clear and definite purpose?

Welcome to 2011 and our updated newsletter.

Since we already have a relationship you know some of what we do in helping clients overcome stress, anxiety and other issues that most of the human race have to deal with at different times.

 2011 will be a challenging time for many, simply by reason of greater global disturbance, financial unrest and elevated levels of conflict in families and society in general. This series of newsletters provide you with resources to help create the kind of life YOU want for yourself and those you love. Feel free to pass it on to your family, friends and business acquaintances.

In this issue we deal with CONFLICT

Dealing with Conflict to Live with a Smile

Conflict takes its toll on everyone. When two parties have opposing views, behaviours or VALUES, conflict follows as sure as night follows day. We see that conflict played out on a daily basis around the world. Sometimes that conflict affects us, sometimes not depending on how it impinges on our unconscious programming. But the closer it comes to home the more our protective unconscious values are alerted. When it moves into close circles of family, friends and work, conflict begins to have a devastating affect.

We can't do much about external conflicts, but we can take positive steps to curbing two levels of conflict;

1. Conflicts with our partners and children

2. Conflicts within ourselves that raise anxiety and raise levels of depression.

First let's look at partner conflicts, since they tend to cause more distress than other types. We make a commitment to a partner on the understanding that we are usually in it for the long term. Often our choice of partner becomes a nightmare because the initial buzz of perceived romance cools when the realities of living with someone hit home. We are driven by our beliefs and values. Values are simply beliefs that have a higher emotional energy attached, and therefore direct more of our unconscious behaviours automatically. When two individuals get together with huge spaces between their value sets, conflict will ALWAYS occur unless you have a passionate understanding of another concept called ACCEPTANCE.

Few of have a clear understanding of acceptance and its role in relationships with other people. It is the third leg of the relationship tripod - the others being LOVE and RESPECT. Take any one of these three critical elements away and relationships get very wobbly before they fall over!

Fortunately you can reprogram your unconscious drives to save and enhance failing relationship. However, BOTH parties to the relationship need to be part of that process - and that is not always possible. Relationship healing is now a structured process, no longer relying on "having a chat" about your problems. And a part of that process is dealing with your own internal conflicts.

Most of us carry unconscious conflicts that raise our own stress levels, and as a result impinge on our relationships. How often have you been in the presence of a partner who had there own conflicts going on, and felt really uncomfortable around them? Often we are not aware that they are internal conflicts, but we know we something doesn't feel right, or we feel anxious and depressed. All such emotional states affect those closest to us, and if they are not discussed the build up of negative energy continues until something breaks. It will either be you, or the relationship.

As you probably already know, our NeuroCom Program is designed to break down these internal conflicts, then evaluate the conflicts within a relationship to determine the source of conflict. We can then modify unconscious behaviours to eliminate the source of conflict PROVIDED the relationship still has at least two legs of the Love, Respect, Acceptance tripod in place.

But it takes a willingness of both parties to create the change. And if that's not possible, you can at least understand the unconscious rules for relationship building and have your mind find the right partner for you.

You don't have to live in conflict and turmoil! For more information contact Gary Johnston at garyj@gmfint.com.
